This is an area that abounds with beauty, history and sea life.  On a kayak you will be able to really explore this area much like Hawaiians did. Ancient Hawaiian once lived and thrived in this rich historical site. When you arrive your guide will have all the equipment ready that you will need for a fun day of kayaking. Seats, Paddles, leashes and Kayaks are all provided. You will also be provided with a Soft Cooler.  Depending on the length of your tour the Soft Cooler will be stocked with water, drinks, snacks, or lunch.  American Red Cross Certified Guides will give you a Kayak Paddle Lesson if needed and a Safety Briefing of the kayaking area. The guides are there to provide you a safe environment and to give you local insight to the history, wildlife, and historic monuments that are located in the area. The guides can either paddle with you or stay at a safe distance to give you the ultimate privacy.
In the Wiamea Bay area there is much to do and see. You can paddle into the Waimea River mouth and see lush views of the valley. Awesome views of the Historic Church and Jump Rock and the Bay can be had out on the water. You can paddle into the Three Tables Reef. The 5 hour kayak tours provide time to paddle up along the rocky coast to Sharks Cove.  This whole area is excellent for snorkel enthusiast. There are lots of fish living among the reefs because this is a fish sanctuary and a safe haven for many marine species. Wiamea bay offers excellent swimming and a leap off jump rock is a must do. Three Tables has excellent snorkeling. Sharks Cove offers some great cliff jumping and cave diving.  You can always relax for a while on the soft warm beach. Turtles may be found in the area. Dolphins are known to frequent the bay and there is a chance you could swim with them or see an aerial show. In the winter months you can see Hump Back Whales breaching and spouting in the distance. Monk Seals can sometimes be observed basking on the beaches in this area. The Iwa Bird is also home to this area and they can be seen flying high over head. This is a special place away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki.
We offer 3 hour and 5 hour Wiamea Kayak Tours. All the kayak equipment is included in the tour price. All tours include a certified guide to provide you a safe environment. Guides are well trained and have in depth local knowledge of the area. For the 3 hour Waimea Kayak Tours we stock the soft coolers with water and snacks.
